Hello from the CameraFi team! 😊

We’re excited to introduce GPS Tracker, now available on CameraFi Live for Android. 🏃🚴

With GPS Tracker, you can show real-time workout data such as pace, speed, distance, elapsed time, and your route right on your video while running or cycling.

Use it to record your workouts or go live and share your activity data with viewers in real time.

※ GPS Tracker is currently available on Android only.

✅ What is GPS Tracker?

GPS Tracker uses your smartphone’s location data to show real-time activity stats on your CameraFi Live video.

Whether you’re running or cycling, you can display your workout data and route alongside your video so viewers can follow your activity at a glance.

🏃 Running Data

  • Current pace
  • Distance
  • Elapsed time
  • Average pace
  • Current location and route

🚴 Cycling Data

  • Current speed
  • Distance
  • Ride time
  • Average speed
  • Elevation
  • Gradient
  • Current location and route

You can choose a tracker that works for both running and cycling, or use one of the activity-specific overlays.

✅ Ways to Use GPS Tracker

GPS Tracker can be used in a variety of running and cycling content.

For example, you can:

  • Show your current pace and distance while running
  • Share your running route with viewers in real time
  • Display your speed and distance during a ride
  • Live stream a bike trip or long-distance ride
  • Create running and cycling videos with workout stats
  • Add GPS data to outdoor sports streams

Instead of showing only the action, you can also give viewers a live look at your workout stats and route as you move.

✅ How to Use GPS Tracker

Open CameraFi Live and follow these steps from the camera screen

① Tap [Effects]
② Select [Smart Widget]
③ Select [Tracker]
④ Choose the GPS tracker you want to use
⑤ Tap [GO] to start recording or streaming
⑥ Press and hold the overlay for about 3 seconds to open its settings. Adjust the overlay if needed, then tap Start
⑦ When you’re done, stop GPS tracking

⑧ After your final distance, time, pace, and other stats appear, end your recording or live stream

Once you select a tracker, it will appear on the camera screen and begin displaying your activity data when tracking starts.

✅ Choose the GPS Tracker That Fits Your Activity

CameraFi Live offers five GPS tracker overlays for different activities and screen layouts.

🏃🚴 1 Tracker for Running & Cycling

This tracker works with both running and cycling.

It shows your activity data along with your current location and route on a map, making it a good choice when you want viewers to follow your course as you move.

The shared tracker is available in three styles:

It works well for running routes, cycling courses, bike trips, and other content where showing your route adds context to the video.

🏃 2 Running Trackers

Two running-specific overlays can display current pace, distance, elapsed time, average pace, and other running stats.

Choose the layout that best matches your video and keep your running stats visible while recording or streaming.

They’re useful for running club streams, personal workout videos, and route-based running content.

🚴 2 Cycling Trackers

There are also two cycling-specific overlays that can display current speed, distance, ride time, average speed, elevation, gradient, and other cycling stats.

Choose the layout that works best for your content and show your ride data in real time.

They’re especially useful for long-distance rides, bike trips, climbs, descents, and other cycling content where terrain and speed are part of the story.

✅ Use GPS Tracker with an Action Camera

GPS Tracker can also be used when a supported external camera or action camera is connected as the video source in CameraFi Live.

For example, you can mount an action camera on your bike and show:

Action camera footage + current speed + distance + route

all on the same screen.

By combining GPS Tracker with different camera setups, you can make running and cycling content feel more dynamic and immersive.

※ Supported external cameras and action cameras may vary depending on the device and connection method.

🔴 Go Live with Your Workout Data

GPS Tracker works with both recorded videos and live streams.

Share your current pace, speed, distance, and route with viewers in real time while you run or ride.

Here are a few ways to use it:

  • Live runs with your running group
  • Running route or course walkthroughs
  • Live bike trips
  • Long-distance cycling streams
  • Action camera POV rides
  • Outdoor sports streams with live GPS data

Instead of showing only what’s happening on camera, you can also share how fast you’re moving, how far you’ve gone, and where you are along the route.

CameraFi Live is constantly improving to support more flexible ways to create and stream live content.

With the new GPS Tracker, you can bring your running and cycling stats into your videos and live streams, making it easier to share the full experience with your viewers. 🏃🚴

Try it out and let us know what you think!

Thank you. :)
