How to Get Your TikTok Live Stream Key & Live Stream on TikTok with CameraFi Live
Today, we will explain how to live stream on TikTok using CameraFi Live. To live stream on TikTok, you need to obtain an RTMP URL & Stream key.
In this guide, we’ll cover both how to get an RTMP URL and how to use it to live stream with CameraFi Live.
1. How to Get Your TikTok RTMP URL and Stream key
TikTok does not provide an RTMP URL to all streamers. You need to obtain an RTMP key through TikTok Live Agencies.
Here’s how our CameraFi Live team acquired the key through agencies:
(1) Contacting TikTok Live Agencies
We reached out to TikTok Live Agencies to request an RTMP key. Since there are many types of TikTok Live Agencies, please search for and contact the one that best suits your needs.
(2) Meeting the Requirements
To receive a stream key, we had to host a live stream for at least 10 minutes within 7 days. These requirements may vary depending on the agencies.
(3) Receiving an Invitation Code
We received an invitation code URL to access and retrieve the stream key. After entering the invitation code, we were able to see the updated information in the "Live" tab of TikTok Studio.
2. How to Live Stream Using an RTMP URL
Follow these steps to live stream on TikTok using the RTMP URL:
(1) Open TikTok on your PC.
(2) Click "Go Live" to start your live stream.
(3) Copy the Server URL and Stream Key.
(4) In CameraFi Live, select RTMP as the server option.
(5) Paste the Server URL into the RTMP URL field and the Stream Key into the Stream Key field.
(6) Click "Go" to start your live streaming.
(7) To end your live stream, first stop the live streaming in CameraFi Live, then end the stream in TikTok Live Studio.
