The replay feature on CameraFi Live Android has been updated!
In the settings menu, you can now adjust five different options for the replay function. Today, we’ll walk you through the three newly updated features:
Key Updates
1️⃣ Replay Buffer Length: Adjust the replay duration from 3 seconds to 30 seconds.
2️⃣ Replay Watermark: Display a watermark on the bottom-right corner of the broadcast screen to indicate replay mode.
3️⃣ NEW! Auto Play: Replay videos now automatically play when the replay button is pressed.
4️⃣ NEW! Transition: Add or remove transition effects before and after replays.
5️⃣ NEW! Transition Effects: Choose your preferred transition effect if you’ve enabled scene transitions.
1. ‘Auto Replay’ Option Added
When the auto replay option is enabled, clicking the ‘REPLAY’ button will automatically play the replay video.
If the feature is turned OFF, you can manually play the replay video from the source switcher. From the source switcher at the bottom, select the screen you want to broadcast—either the live stream or the replay.
Replay Time Display
The replay screen will show footage from the point you clicked the ‘REPLAY’ button, going back for the duration set in the "Replay Buffer Length." While the replay video is playing, the remaining replay time will be displayed in the top-right corner of the screen.
Ending the Replay
After the replay finishes, it will automatically end and switch back to the live screen.
If you wish to replay the video again, select the video source from the source switcher at the bottom of the screen or slide left to find the "Video" section to set the broadcast source.
2. ‘Scene Transition Effects’ Added
When the scene transition option is enabled, transition effects will be added before and after the replay video.
To select your desired effect, click the "Transition Effects" tab and choose from the available options.
