Hi, this is the CameraFi Live team.

We are happy to announce the release of our newest update.

Let’s find out what has changed with this update:

1. Add a function to change the privacy mode asset
2. Support front wide-angle camera
3. Add a center crop function
4. Reopen 720p(HD) 60fps resolution option for USB cameras
5. Add a screen orientation lock
6. Change the storage path of SD card on Android 11
7. Fix minor issues(libssl issue, etc.)


1. Add a function to change the privacy mode asset

You have more options for the Privacy screen.

Privacy mode: CameraFi Live sends the alternative screen and the audio is muted.

It can be used as a standby screen when you are away for a while during the live-streaming or before you start your broadcasting.

2. Support front wide-angle camera


The wide-angle camera, which was only available on the rear camera, is also supported on the front camera as well.

With the camera rotation button on the top, you can select it.


3. Add a screen scale type option



✔ Fit center: A screen is reduced to fit the shorter one and place in the center.
✔ Center crop: The screen is cropped and enlarged to fill the screen.



4. Support 720p 60fps resolution option for USB cameras



Shoot seamlessly with a higher frame rate!

You can select the 720p 60fps resolution option if your USB camera supports it.


5. Add a screen rotation lock function



Screen orientation lock is available now!

You can choose whether to rotate/lock the screen in Settings - Screen Rotation.

✔ Auto rotate: Automatically rotates the screen according to the screen orientation.
✔ Landscape lock: The screen is fixed horizontally(bottom of a mobile: right).
✔ Portrait lock: The screen is fixed vertically.
✔ Reverse landscape lock: The screen is fixed horizontally(bottom of a mobile: left).




6. Change the storage path of SD card on Android 11



If you record the video and save it on SD card, the video will be saved in DCIM/CameraFiLive/video ) on Android 11.



7. Fix minor issues(libssl issue, etc.)
